An upcoming American science fiction monster film set to be directed by Adam Wingard and written by Terry Rossio, Jeremy Slater, and Simon Barrett. Produced by Legendary Pictures, it is the fifth entry in the MonsterVerse. The film is widely reported to be focused on Kong, though an early synopsis states that he will team up with Godzilla once again against a new opponent as well. Warner Bros. will tentatively release the film to theaters on March 15, 2024.
